Im out of coffee creamer, so I had a diet pepsi. The midwife scolded me for the caffeine- I am going to cut back, but I need some help in the morning from it.I figure i’ll start documenting the things that Juliet & Colin (mainly Juliet) do during the day- the things that will make me be grey at age 27.It all starts when the house is quiet. I usually know something is wrong if Juliet is upstairs. I have started locking Juliet’s bedroom door so she has no access to it, but Colin’s door I prop open- so she cant lock herself in and be sneaky.Juliet went into the refrigerator (the only appliance I am unable to childproof) and took the pancake syrup into Colin’s room. The bed doesnt have a boxspring, it has a flexible board on which the mattress sits. She took the mattress off the bed and put it on the floor, the lifted this board so that it was at an 85 degree angle, it kind of propped itself so it stayed upward by leaning on the frame of the bed.She actually had full access the the bottom of the mattress, I guess it flipped upside down when she took it off the bed. She had a “syrup party”, she made a lake on the mattress with the syrup. She then coated her arms and face in syrup. Colin was in the room, but didn’t participate, thankfully. I was in the bathroom trying to find a way to make my black eye less visable with makeup, maybe in there for 2 minutes, 3 tops- just long enough to smear on some base. Sure didn’t take long for Juliet to get an idea in her head and run with it.This is why my children today are eating cinnamon rolls for breakfast. I cant make eggs because the smell makes the morning sickness worse- so for me, I make pancakes, waffles, or cinnamon rolls- repeat. Hubby makes eggs when he can, Juliet will eat cereal but Colin wont. It’s Friday right?

Had my first baby appointment today. I am doing really well, Got to hear the baby’s heartbeat as well which was nice. I have to go to the complicated OB clinic after this appointment, which should be interesting. My midwife today is emailing the surgeon that did all the repair work 5 months ago- Im afraid of how she will react to my pregnancy, not much she can do about it now execpt just look at me and shake her head.Oh- My IRR/active duty fun isn’t over- far from it. I am now in the “standy reserve”- and am temporarily medically disqualified- until 6 months past my due date. I will then have 5 months left where I will be put back into the IRR and no doubt called upon again. what fun.
The planning has started for our high school reunion- I can’t believe its been almost 10 years already!

Need to share "a funny". Two days after I recieved orders revoking my call up to active duty, a retention NCO knocked on my door. "Are ya sure you don't want to join a unit?". I thought this was funny. See, this same NCO called me two weeks after I was called into active duty. He at the time told me it would be beneficial, as it would aid in my not getting placed where the needs of the Army are- with an IRR call up. See, he didn't get the memo that I was already spoken for. He sure did get it letting him know I was fair game. Didn't seem to care that I lacked a family care plan, nor that I was pregnant. Go figure lol.

I hid in my sons closet yesterday, but was quickly discovered. I tried later to sit on a lawn chair in my front yard, but that didn't last long either. Taking a few moments for "me" usually consists of shampoo and conditioner, but i'll take it either way. When you are a stay at home mom, with minimal outside the home commitments- it's hard to not lose yourself in your day to day childcare.
I like to scrapbook, crochet, read a good book, watch the clouds. Yesterday we colored, that was wierdly therapudic. This is why my children go to bed at 7pm. Id take a lifetime of 6:30am wake-up's- so long as I can watch tv, and just be me at night time.
